Clinical Education Facilitator

Job Purpose:

To undertake a key role in the development and delivery of clinical education and training programs for Emergency Nurse Practitioners, utilizing high levels of decision-making and clinical judgment. Ensure that patient health needs are met through the provision of diagnosis and management of patient conditions through assessment, treatment, and review planning processes in partnership with patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals, other agencies, carers, clients, and relatives on clinical matters related to Emergency Nurse Practitioner practice.
  • Lead and develop the service to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence-based standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical education and training programs, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

The post holder will require a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
