Position Overview
As an Educational Support Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational journey of our students by providing dedicated assistance in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to elevating the quality of children's educational experiences through effective support within the school environment.
- Offer tailored assistance to students facing various challenges, including learning difficulties, communication issues, and social barriers.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to help students succeed academically, including engaging in one-on-one interventions.
- Participate in and support school-wide activities, such as special events and excursions.
- Oversee student behavior during school hours and breaks, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and their families, while adhering to relevant child protection and equality standards.
- Become certified in first aid and provide necessary medical assistance to students and staff as needed.
Note that your responsibilities may evolve based on the needs of the service, while maintaining the core duties and responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with child protection protocols is preferred.
- Previous experience in a primary educational setting is advantageous.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, colleagues, and parents, both verbally and in writing.
- A flexible approach to shared responsibilities.
