About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GWO Basic Safety Training Instructor to join our team at Maersk Training. As a GWO Basic Safety Training Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering training and assessing delegates in accordance with GWO training standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Training and Assess Delegates: You will be responsible for delivering training and assessing delegates in accordance with GWO training standards.
- Review and Update Course Material: You will review, update and develop course material according to GWO standards.
- Ensure Safe Training Delivery: You will ensure all training is delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain Equipment: You will ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Conduct Safety Inspections: You will conduct relevant safety inspections of all equipment.
- Work in Line with Maersk Core Values: You will work in-line with Maersk core values.
Requirements
- Experience in GWO Training: You must have experience in the delivery of GWO training courses.
- Qualifications: You must have a L3 award in education and training or equivalent.
- Strong Presentation Skills: You must have strong presentation skills.
- Excellent Communication and Organisation Skills: You must have excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Flexible Attitude to Work: You must have a flexible attitude to work and be willing to travel.
- Ability to Work Individually and as Part of a Team: You must be able to work individually and as part of a team.
