Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team in Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments and provide social work services to users and carers under relevant legislation and Council policy.
- Participate in duty teams/rotas to handle contacts and referrals, undertake section 47 enquiries, and carry out child and family assessments.
- Undertake Care Proceedings and represent the Local Authority in Court.
You will work 35 hours per week from our offices in Enfield. Your responsibilities will include working with children and families, undertaking assessments, and providing social work services.
Requirements- Extensive court experience, ideally with a background in working with Looked After Children.
- Comfortable working within local government guidelines and making effective use of both Group and independent resources.
- Ability to utilize the latest research in interventions and participate in duty teams or rotas.
The hourly rate is commensurate with your experience. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team of social workers, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and families in Enfield.
