At Executive Recruit, we are seeking an exceptional Sales General Manager to lead our UK-wide distribution business to new heights. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth, sales, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership to the management team, ensuring alignment with our company vision, values, and goals.
- Develop and implement a robust strategic sales and growth plan to expand market share, enhance profitability, and drive long-term business success.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of our UK-wide distribution network, including logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and driving operational efficiencies across all areas of the business.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities, target markets, and customer segments.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure our company remains competitive and responsive to industry changes.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing processes and systems that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance.
- Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution network.
- Ensure our company resources are allocated effectively, maintaining a high level of service delivery across all regions.
- Maintain our company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction by ensuring all products and services meet the highest standards.
- Proven experience in a senior general management role within a UK-wide distribution or logistics business.
- Strong track record of successfully managing large-scale operations, with a focus on efficiency, process improvement, and cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve high levels of performance.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales and growth plans that drive business success.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with practical execution, ensuring plans are effectively implemented and deliver results.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and distribution processes.
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiencies, implement process improvements, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in management, logistics, or operations (e.g., CILT, APICS) are advantageous.
