Position: Technical Publications Engineer – Support Engineering

Role Overview:

The Technical Publications Engineer will collaborate with a dedicated team to develop Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs) for submarine operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that end users can effectively support, maintain, and operate submarines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate IETPs from technical documentation deliveries utilizing specialized tools to enhance the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) framework.
  • Employ engineering judgment to analyze and interpret technical data, ensuring accurate publication of outputs.
  • Perform administrative tasks to uphold comprehensive records of technical publications within the ILS department.
  • Adhere to Ministry of Defence guidelines on Technical Publications and understand how the ILS Strategy contributes to development outputs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in data analysis and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, generating innovative ideas while adhering to established processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Technical Publications within the industry.
