Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled Nurse Assessor to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Nurse Assessor, you will play a crucial role in providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR) for claimants with a range of health conditions and disabilities.
- Manage caseloads from end to end, including breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
- Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
- Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500.
- 5% retention bonus.
- Rising to 10% quality & retention bonus.
- Hybrid Full time, Part time working hours available.
- Training options: 12 weeks (full time), 14 weeks (4 days per week) & 17 weeks (3 days per week).
- 25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service.
- Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided.
