Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Conference & Events Assistant to join our team at King Street Townhouse Hotel. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the smooth execution of conferences, banquets, and other events.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare rooms for conference guests, including setup and testing of audio-visual equipment.
- Set up rooms for large events, including weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events.
- Prepare equipment, tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, and glassware for upcoming events.
- Manage inventory of conference supplies and maintain a high level of organization.
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Take and deliver customer orders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow cash handling procedures and manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Up-sell with latest departmental incentives and strive to achieve departmental targets.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
