Job Title: Apprentice Construction Site Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Apprentice Construction Site Engineer to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Site Surveys and Setting Out: Conduct site surveys, manage setting out, leveling, and ensure accuracy of all construction works.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure efficient work processes.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor progress and prepare daily reports on site activities, ensuring health & safety standards are met.
  • Project Milestone Tracking: Liaise with the project manager to track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within large-scale water or infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent understanding of water infrastructure construction processes, drainage systems, and civil engineering techniques are essential.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams on-site.
  • Health and Safety: Thorough knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification desirable.
