Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Site Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate site operations, including setting out, leveling, and ensuring accuracy of all construction works.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues and ensure efficient work processes.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor progress and prepare daily reports on site activities, ensuring health & safety standards are met.
  • Project Coordination: Liaise with the project manager to track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within large-scale water or infrastructure projects.
  • Skills: Excellent understanding of water infrastructure construction processes, drainage systems, and civil engineering techniques; proficient in the use of surveying and setting-out equipment; strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Certifications: CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS certification desirable.
