Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Stannah. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products to meet corporate and international standards.
- Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions, including technical drawings and specifications.
- Analyze requirements using the Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) process to define test specifications.
- Examine designs using component-level DFMEA process to ensure safety and quality.
- Produce technical documentation for production, installation, and service, including user manuals and maintenance guides.
- Assess the safety of product designs using the Product Safety Hazard Analysis process.
Requirements:
- HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering.
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Creo.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, preferably Windchill.
- Drafting skills to BS8888 or other equivalent/relevant standard.
