We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Stannah, a family-owned manufacturing and engineering company. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing all aspects of mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products to corporate and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products, ensuring compliance with corporate and international standards.
  • Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions, including technical drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with company goals.
  • Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, development, and testing of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Creo.
