Cambridge Council Director

Remedy Recruitment Group / TA Remedy Medical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Cambridge Council Director. This is a senior position that requires strong leadership and strategic thinking to improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of Cambridgeshire
- Work with the Director of Public Health and other consultant colleagues to develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes
- Act as a change agent to enable delivery of relevant outcome indicators from the public health, NHS, and social care outcome frameworks
- Work across organisations to influence budgets and advocate for change effectively
- Hold direct managerial responsibility for services and budgets that contribute to improving health and wellbeing outcomes
About the Role:
This is a senior role in the local health and wellbeing community across Cambridgeshire. The postholder will work as part of a Public Health team and system committed to improving health and wellbeing in the region. The role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking to deliver strategic leadership for improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for older people, people with learning disabilities, and improving public mental health and preventing mental ill health.
