Key Responsibilities:- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the hospital Senior Management Team to drive effective workforce planning, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Onboarding and Probation: Lead the hospital onboarding activities for new joiners, ensuring a seamless induction process and providing guidance to managers and new starters during probation periods.
- HR Advice and Guidance: Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and colleagues, ensuring compliance with Spire policy, procedure, and best practice.
- Absence Management: Actively manage absence within the hospital, reducing short-term absence and effectively managing long-term absence.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues in a timely manner, prioritizing workload and ensuring diversity and equality, fairness, and consistency are applied in all discussions and decisions.
- Appraisals and Performance Management: Coordinate the appraisal process and support managers in performance management, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
- CIPD Qualification: Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- HR Experience: Demonstrable experience as a HR Advisor or in another HR-based role.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of HR functions and systems, employment laws, and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
- Business Acumen: Ability to identify and implement business-focused solutions, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build strong relationships.
