Humanities Teacher Job Opportunity

We are partnering with a secondary school in Nottingham to find an enthusiastic and committed Humanities teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will be teaching RS, History, or Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. KS5 experience is desired but not essential. ECTs are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and creative Humanities lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's curriculum.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities such as school trips.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs welcome to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, History, RS, or a related field.
  • Recent experience teaching Humanities at secondary school level.
  • Strong behavior/classroom management.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
