About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at phs Group Limited. As a key member of our Health and Safety department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and update customer audits, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes, and provide support to customers and account managers via phone and email queries.
  • Complete customer Hazard Waste Registrations and quarterly returns.
  • Review and analyze incident information, collate incident statistics/data, and produce reports for senior management.
  • Maintain the master action register, monitor progress, and obtain timely responses from Regional and Site Managers.
  • Collate responses to internal audits, update action plans, and record on the master action register.
  • Manage Safe Contractor accreditations admin process.
  • Collate enforcement actions, record on the master action register, and communicate to Regional Manager.
  • Maintain the managers Training Spreadsheet to ensure employees receive applicable health & safety and environmental training.
  • Maintain records of phs Group's Waste Management Licences, Environmental Permits & Exemptions, and ensure matrices are up to date.
  • Handle Tender Documentation/information requests on behalf of the department.
  • Record and produce minutes for management and team meetings.
Requirements
  • Good computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn CRM systems, including Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
