Maintenance Technician for Equipment Operations

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations at Snap Inc. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Quickly respond to equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and restore functionality to minimize downtime.
  • Verify that all machinery operates in accordance with established specifications and standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve control systems, vacuum, electronic, electrical, and mechanical issues effectively.
  • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, developing troubleshooting methods and support systems.
  • Utilize schematics and tools for the calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
  • Disassemble, adjust, and repair machinery following maintenance guidelines and manufacturer manuals.
  • Identify opportunities for machine enhancements to boost efficiency, yield, and productivity while reducing operational costs.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering principles and safety procedures by all personnel operating equipment.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Mentor and train fellow technicians to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of semiconductor, optical devices, and display technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Adaptable to evolving circumstances and able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Experience in vendor collaboration for equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Proven track record of implementing improvements to reduce operational costs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a similar manufacturing environment.
