Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Apple Orchard. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young males aged 13-18 years.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of our young people, providing individualized support and care to meet their unique needs. You will work closely with our management team to deliver high-quality care and support, promoting positive relationships and outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, meeting their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our management team and other professionals.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, maintaining a clean and organized living space.
  • Engage young people in a range of activities, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Collaborate with our management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support, meeting the needs of our residents.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or a related field, or be willing to work towards one.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
