Position Title: Specialist Autism Support Practitioner
Work Hours: 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary Range: £41,000 - £44,000 per annum
Initial salary placement will typically be at the starting point of the pay scale.

Objective: The primary goal is to deliver timely interventions to children and families impacted by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and those navigating the diagnostic pathway.
This role includes providing training and consultation based on the latest research concerning ASD and associated neuro-developmental challenges, aimed at both families and professional teams.

Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families affected by disabilities, including those with ASD and neuro-developmental difficulties.
- Proof of membership or registration with the relevant professional body, such as the Scottish Social Services Council, specifically on the 'Social Worker' part of the Register, and possessing a qualification recognized by the SSSC equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (Dip SW).
- A professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Education, Community Education, Nursing, or a related field.
