The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Caithness. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns, or dementia with their daily routines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive team environment that promotes a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong commitment to delivering person-centered care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days and sleepovers.
  • Desirable knowledge of autism and learning disability support.
