Job Title: Consultant in Psychiatry

Location: Cumbria and Northumberland

Experience: 6 to 8 years

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Psychiatry to join our esteemed medical team at Cephas.

Candidates must be currently working as a Consultant in Psychiatry with 6 years post-medical doctor experience. There are vacancies across general adult, children, and young people psychiatry, as well as old age psychiatry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  3. Provide medication management and monitor the effectiveness of prescribed medications.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of psychiatry.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.

Applicants must have already started any route to GMC registration, such as PLAB, or any of the Memberships with Royal Colleges in the UK that award GMC entry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £96,666.00-£126,283.00 per year
