Acoustic Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Acoustic Consultant to join our AECOM Acoustics team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to a wide range of acoustics projects, primarily covering railway acoustics and environmental vibration, with opportunities to manage and grow work across broader areas of building acoustics and environmental acoustics.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead acoustic input, undertake predictions, assessment, and write reports on a range of projects.
- Collaborate with clients to provide advice on acoustics projects.
- Oversee environmental noise and vibration assessment projects, providing guidance on noise and vibration and related health impact assessments.
- Experience of undertaking acoustic modeling using CadnaA, CATT/Odeon, etc software.
- Degree (and preferably a postgraduate qualification such as a Master's) in acoustics or relevant technical disciplines (e.g. Physics, Maths or Engineering).
