The Emerald Group Ltd, Search and Selection is seeking a highly skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in London. As a Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Property Claims in the effective management of claims and oversight of third-party administrators (TPAs) and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Claims Management: Support the Head of Property Claims in adjusting all inward claims within claims handling authority, ensuring compliance with Lloyd's Minimum Standards and Claims schemes where applicable.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise and meet with Claims Agreement Parties, Brokers, and Underwriting teams, attending market and internal meetings on behalf of the Syndicate as necessary.
- Expert Instructing: Instruct Loss Adjusters, Lawyers, and other third-party Experts as required, ensuring all claims are handled in accordance with claims handling procedures and relevant Service Level Agreements.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report claims in accordance with reporting requirements, measuring claims process performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Relationship Management: Own key relationships with business partners, initiating regular claims case reviews, and sharing findings and recommendations with the respective TPA, claims, and underwriting teams.
- TPA Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and benchmark external TPAs, loss adjusters, and other third-party service providers, promoting best practices and minimizing claims leakage.
- Complaints and Feedback: Provide feedback on individual complaints and trend analysis, monitoring developments in the insurance market and identifying technologies to improve the customer claims journey.
- Qualifications: ACII qualification or progressing towards ACII qualification.
- Experience: Proven claims handling experience in US personal lines and commercial property classes of business, management of TPAs and/or Coverholders with delegated authority.
- Skills: Strong stakeholder account management experience, flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business, and ability to work on UK, International, and US claims as both lead and follow.
