Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Specialist to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for detecting and preventing shoplifting, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize CCTV cameras to monitor store activity and identify potential security threats.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into shoplifting incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and internal departments to resolve security issues.
  • Provide testimony in court cases as required.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and law enforcement personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and team members.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of experience in a retail or law enforcement environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Regional travel required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
