About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship candidate. As a key member of our educational support team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced educators to provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to lead teachers in classroom activities, including setting up materials, assisting with lesson delivery, and managing student behavior.
  • Work closely with students on a one-on-one or small group basis to provide additional support and guidance in understanding subject matter.
  • Assist in maintaining discipline and order in the classroom, reinforcing established rules and procedures.
  • Help in organizing and preparing learning resources to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Assist in administering and grading assignments, quizzes, and tests, as well as recording and tracking student progress and performance.
  • Collaborate with the teacher and other support staff to accommodate students with special needs.
  • Support the integration of technology into the teaching and learning process.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, conveying student progress and addressing concerns.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills and pedagogical knowledge.
