Job Title: SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teach Plus. As a SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cover classes during Teachers' PPA time across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress
  • Have strong behaviour management skills and support with challenging behaviour
  • Delegate TA's to ensure meeting pupils' needs
  • Create a positive and fun atmosphere where pupils can learn
  • Use different strategies to encourage pupils' learning
Requirements:
  • CACHE Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Course
  • Experience covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service - Child workforce
  • Right to work within the UK
  • Overseas criminal clearance
