Job Title: Clerk of Works - Traffic Team

We are seeking a skilled Clerk of Works to join our Traffic Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of traffic projects, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and check traffic works carried out on site by contractors, ensuring compliance with works orders, design drawings, and specifications.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to identify potential issues and ensure snagging and defects are addressed.
  • Collaborate with contractors to improve construction processes and procedures.
  • Measure completed work for payment purposes and ensure accurate records are maintained.
Requirements:
  • Experience in overseeing the delivery of small to large traffic projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Highways Act 1980, New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991, and Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • Understanding of traffic design and highways construction, including civil engineering contracts.
