As a member of the Lay Panel, you will play a crucial role in committees, working groups, and Council, providing an alternative viewpoint and specialist advice. No clinical knowledge is required, and we welcome volunteers with backgrounds in senior financial management, commercial business, fundraising, or academia/research development related to healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of eye health initiatives and activities
  • Provide an alternative viewpoint and specialist advice in committees, working groups, and Council
  • Support the College's mission to promote excellence in optometry
