About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor Accounts Qualified to join our team. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring that all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with prescribed systems and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare management accounts and complete all sections on time, accurately, and thoroughly.
  • Complete complex assignments for manager review and utilize junior staff on simpler tasks, overseeing their work standard.
  • Support trainees and help with their development of knowledge and skills.
  • Review annual accounts prepared by juniors and finalize accounts, passing them on for manager review.
  • Audit - where applicable, complete planning documentation, conduct site visits, and review/finish audit files to the appropriate standard.
Key Accountabilities
  • Chargeable time - target 60%+ for self and direct reports.
  • Quality of files - neat, accurate, complete, on time, and showing initiative.
  • Personal and professional development - progression on course of study (if applicable), SWAT courses, development of soft skills, attendance record, and relative situation compared to colleagues.
Requirements
  • Essential: analytical thinking skills, QuickBooks, online cloud accounting, knowledge of accounts, Autoentry/HubDoc, administration skills, IRIS, excellent communication skills, virtual Cabinet, proficiency in MS Office, practice Engine, team working, organized with good time management skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, Xero, Sage.
  • Desirable: adaptable and able to manage several jobs simultaneously, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, reliable with good timekeeping, dedicated, confidentiality, integrity.
