We are currently in search of a Mechanical Shift Engineer to oversee maintenance and reactive tasks at a major commercial site. Ideal candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing maintenance duties and responding to on-site issues.

We are looking for individuals with a solid background in Facilities Maintenance and a proven history in commercial maintenance roles. This position is particularly suitable for Maintenance Plumbers who are eager for training and new challenges. Candidates should have experience in plumbing, including installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. In return, the company offers competitive pay along with opportunities for overtime, training, and professional development.

Shift Details: 4 on 4 off, covering both day and night shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive maintenance requests
  • Performing repairs and installations
  • Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager
  • Maintaining and updating site log books
  • Providing detailed reports on additional work as necessary
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard

Essential Qualifications:

  • Plumbing Level 2/3 or Mechanical Level 2/3 certification
  • Experience in a Facilities Maintenance environment
  • Additional skills in mechanical, basic electrical, and fabric maintenance are advantageous
  • Ability to provide technical support to administrative staff as needed
