Mechanical Engineer - Facilities Management Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our maintenance team dedicated to the UCL campus in Stratford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking fault-finding and reactive breakdown repairs to building services systems and infrastructure, as well as rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking fault-finding and reactive breakdown repairs to building services systems and infrastructure
- Rectifying hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems
- Completing jobs on Steam Plant, Medical Gas, Plumbing, Chillers, Chiller beams, and other mechanical assets
- Engaging with stakeholders to provide fault diagnostics
Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Time-Served or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of working in Education or Healthcare (desirable)
- Knowledge of steam plant, medical gas, AHU's, and HIU's
- Comfortable using a handheld PDA/Mobile and compliant with paperwork
