Overview:

AXA Health is on the lookout for dedicated Registered Nurses to enhance our Cancer Care division. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Case Management, you will leverage your clinical expertise and case management abilities to deliver exceptional care services to our members and their families, all within a supportive team atmosphere.

Your Role:

In this position, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and medical facilities to ensure our members receive optimal care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing claims effectively while serving as a clinical authority, offering specialized knowledge and support to our members.
  • Keeping our members informed about their treatment options and the status of their claims.
  • Providing compassionate telephone support during challenging times for our members and their families.
  • Engaging actively with our team and understanding how your contributions align with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrating and promoting principles of claims cost management while identifying potential areas for improvement.
  • Cultivating in-depth knowledge and proficiency in your role.

What We Seek:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification – essential.
  • A nursing diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in nursing – essential.
  • Current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) – essential.
  • Preferably, experience in cancer nursing.
  • Strong judgment, decision-making capabilities, and a sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Effective relationship management abilities.
  • Competence in handling difficult conversations.

Work Environment:
