Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and beverage services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cook in the preparation and delivery of meals, ensuring that all food is presented in a clean and appetizing manner.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to strict hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that all residents receive excellent customer service and have a positive dining experience.
- Participate in menu planning and preparation, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met and that meals are nutritionally balanced.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food preparation and service, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards.
- Flexibility to work in accordance with rostered hours, including weekends and evenings.
