Whittington Health Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the region, seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Department Staff Nurse to join their Whittington Staff Bank.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre, developing specific competencies in emergency care and upholding the Chief Nursing Officer's 6C's of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to enhance the wellbeing of patients attending the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre
  • Develop specific competencies in emergency care, including the Chief Nursing Officer's 6C's of Nursing
  • Support the Trust's ICARE values and uphold the highest standards of patient care
Requirements:
  • NMC Registration
  • At least 6 months NHS and A&E experience in the last 3 years
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, with a caring patient-centered approach
