We are seeking an experienced and committed Band 5 Emergency Department Staff Nurse to join our Whittington Staff Bank. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing direct patient care to enhance the wellbeing of patients attending the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre.
About the RoleThe post holder will be responsible for developing specific competencies relating to Emergency Care, upholding the Chief Nursing Officer's 6C's of Nursing, and supporting the Trust ICARE values. You will work closely with our exceptional senior clinical staff to gain invaluable skills and experience.
Requirements- NMC Registration
- At least 6 months NHS and A&E experience in the last 3 years
- Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and an ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centered approach
- Flexible working hours
- Ability to self-book and monitor shifts with online timesheet and weekly pay system
- Opportunity to gain experience and skills from senior clinical staff
- Priority of shifts over agency workers
