About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our team at General Mills. As a key member of our Grocery team, you will be responsible for leading the key interface between General Mills UK and our strategic retail partners, driving sales, share, and profit growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans for our Grocery customer, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Deliver accurate financial and volume forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, leveraging your expertise in commercial acumen and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute promotional plans within defined investment budgets, identifying and implementing revenue management opportunities to drive growth.
  • Develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximize sales and gross profit for both parties, leveraging your understanding of category management processes.
  • Lead customer engagement initiatives, fostering strong relationships with our retail partners and driving business growth through excellent execution.
What You Will Bring
  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager in a branded FMCG business, with a strong understanding of the UK grocery trade and category management processes.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and present compelling sales presentations.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in delivering results through cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of consumer and shopper marketing.
  • Advanced forecasting and commercial modeling skills, with the ability to analyze data and drive business growth.
