Job Title: ACCA Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading investment management company, is seeking an experienced ACCA Senior Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of the monthly and quarterly financial close process for complex subsidiaries and legal entities.
  • Identify opportunities to implement practical changes and drive improvements in financial processes.
  • Prepare and execute complex accounting steps and transactions.
  • Prepare consolidated and summarized financial results for internal management reporting and regulatory requirements.
  • Compile working papers for internal/external audit requests.
  • Provide training and guidance to co-op students and new hires.
  • Participate in ad-hoc analyses and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Recognized professional accounting designation (CPA).
  • Three to five years of progressive work experience in a corporate accounting and finance function.
  • Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be an asset.
  • Experience with accounting and reporting under an IFRS framework.
