The Emergency Response Coordinator will function as an independent practitioner, utilizing their clinical expertise to make informed decisions based on their knowledge and analytical abilities. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
The primary objective of our Emergency Response service is to address patients' urgent care requirements in their homes. This approach is crucial for enhancing patient outcomes, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions, and aligning with healthcare strategic goals.
As a Clinical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the clinical workload effectively, ensuring that patient care is prioritized appropriately.
- Overseeing the quality of patient assessments and care planning.
- Providing daily management of the team in accordance with clinical needs.
- Supporting the development and leadership of team members, serving as a positive role model for junior staff.
- Facilitating team meetings to promote collaboration and communication.
- Implementing service improvements and transformations.
- Ensuring compliance with Trust HR policies and professional conduct standards.
- Acting as a deputy for the line manager when necessary.
- Coordinating the operations center as required.
- Supervising medication administration for junior staff.
- Monitoring staffing levels and determining the need for additional support.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Essential:
- Registered with the appropriate professional body.
- Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and post-registration training.
Desirable:
- Completion of a leadership or management program, or willingness to pursue such training.
- Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or intent to obtain.
- Training in coaching and mentorship.
- Willingness to undertake PACR training.
Experience
Essential:
- Experience in multi-agency service environments.
- Minimum of one year of community-based experience.
Desirable:
- Experience in mentoring roles.
