Cavendish Nuclear is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Specialist to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As an Emergency Preparedness Specialist, you will report to the MEH Fire Safety & EP Manager, providing expert advice and guidance on emergency planning and fire safety.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, maintaining, and reviewing emergency preparedness and fire safety policies, rescue management arrangements, and Rescue Plans in collaboration with contractors.
- Providing fire safety and emergency preparedness advice to MEH Managers, Leads, and construction teams.
- Conducting fire safety and emergency preparedness assurance audits, inspections, and monitoring activities.
- Reviewing fire risk assessments completed by the fire safety team.
- Advising health and safety groups on general and process fire safety and emergency preparedness.
This role is full time, 38 hours a week, based on site at Hinkley Point C.
Essential Experience:
- Suitable site experience in a similar emergency preparedness role.
- Experience in producing fire risk assessments in a construction or dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH fire and construction certificates (desirable).
