About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students who require additional support to access their education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide one-to-one tuition to students with special educational needs, promoting academic progress and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support network for students
  • Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adjusting learning plans accordingly
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being
Requirements
  • Hold a valid QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience working with students with special educational needs, preferably in a classroom setting
  • Be creative, patient, and able to think outside the box to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Hold a right to work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
