Residential Support Professional

Horizon Care and Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in our homes across the Yorkshire region. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them to build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Support young people in their daily routines, including morning preparations, meal times, and evening relaxation activities.
- Encourage and facilitate hobbies, social activities, and friendships, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver relationship-based, person-centred care, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
- Participate in reflective practice and contribute to the development of individual care plans.
- Be flexible and adaptable, working a range of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
