We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Health, Safety and Environment to lead our SHEQ team and drive a culture of continuous improvement across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision in SHEQ, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement a SHEQ change programme to drive a positive culture and improve performance.
  • Engage and support directors and managers to create and maintain a vibrant health and safety culture.
  • Implement initiatives and campaigns to drive continual improvement of safety, health, environment, and quality.
  • Develop and use metrics to measure and drive improvement in the business, setting KPIs for the SHEQ team.
  • Develop, review, and update all SHEQ strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Lead the certification process for ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Manage and lead all incident investigations and ensure effective inspection and internal audit plans.
  • Provide direct leadership to the company's SHEQ team.
  • Develop, monitor and report on annual budgets for SHEQ.
  • Liaise with external bodies and stakeholders, including regulatory and professional organisations.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) Level 6 in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • ISO Internal Auditor (desirable).
  • 10 years' experience in an operational SHEQ role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior SHEQ role.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable ISO and/or OSHA standards.
  • Full understanding of legal HSE policy and guidelines.
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into objectives and pragmatic plans for the business.
  • Natural leadership style with the ability to motivate, inspire and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (as required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven analytic, planning, and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
