About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for quantifying MEP projects financially to ensure profitability and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Provide accurate reporting of costs, projections, contingency, liabilities, sales, and margins.
- Cash Flow Management: Take responsibility for cash flow forecasting, submission, and receipt of payments.
- Cost Planning: Manage, estimate, and cost plan activities, including presenting the final cost plan and variations.
- Contract Negotiation: Ensure that final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
- Contract Management: Handle contractual frameworks and standard form of contract.
- Process Improvement: Identify and act upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, products, and services provided to clients.
- System Optimization: Identify and act upon ways to improve internal systems and processes.
- Procurement Management: Responsible for MEP procurement and package costs.
- Commercial and Contractual Control: Ensure commercial and contractual control, compliance, and coordination of the project.
- Risk Management: Review and interpret contract terms and conditions, identifying and mitigating risks and enhancing opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: JCT / NEC experience and M&E experience.
