Project Director Cost Manager

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director Cost Manager to join our team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of cost managers at various grades, developing opportunities, and driving growth across the Business Unit's activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and manage strategies to deliver business objectives.
- Identify and drive new business development opportunities.
- Ensure projects are managed in accordance with Gleeds processes and procedures.
- Agree fees and charges for potential services.
- Deliver high-quality services and deliverables.
- Review scope of appointments and ensure services are delivered in accordance with appointments.
- Manage and maintain customer relationships.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Ensure sufficient resources are available to deliver services.
- Lead and manage teams, including working with Associate Directors.
- Manage employees, focusing on retention and development.
- Develop and enhance Gleeds cost management capability.
- Brief employees on relevant aspects of Gleeds business.
- Prepare bids for services.
- Manage service delivery for profit.
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with extensive cost management experience post MRICS qualification. The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and cost planning techniques, as well as sound practical knowledge of construction methods and materials.
