Oxford Instruments plc is seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our Materials Analysis business. As a trusted advisor and business partner, you will play a key role in providing legal advisory services to our management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including sales contracts, agency and distributor agreements, and collaboration and licence agreements.
- Assisting the Sales team with negotiations with customers and reviewing public procurement tender documents.
- Conducting risk assessments on contracts and ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Enhancing contract management procedures and supporting the Group Legal team with various legal matters.
- Ensuring the business complies with applicable laws, processes, and procedures and offering guidance to the OI Materials Analysis team on contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Be in a similar role, within an in-house legal role.
- Have knowledge within international law and jurisdictions.
