About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MSK Sonographer to join our team at Healthshare Group. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective ultrasound services, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior operations managers to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, consultants, and clinic teams.
  • Perform a range of general and specialized ultrasound examinations, maintaining the highest professional and technical standards.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained in line with policies and procedures.
  • Comply with national and local infection control policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with radiologists and referring consultants to provide the best possible service for patients.
  • Work with minimal supervision or under own initiative.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and adhere to Healthshare Group policies.
Requirements
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered.
  • Some post-registration experience.
  • Current related professional knowledge.
  • Safe use of equipment relevant to the post.
  • Maintains a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) portfolio.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to duties.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality.
