Major Recruitment Oldbury is pleased to be working with an award-nominated Birmingham-based law firm to recruit a Residential Property Paralegal for their Shirley office.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for people and the Residential Property sector, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. They will be responsible for assisting the Property department with day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining communication with clients and mortgage brokers, attending networking events, and preparing initial documents involved in the conveyancing process.

The successful candidate will have gained experience within a similar setting, supporting fee earners within a busy Residential Property Team. They will be confident in liaising with others and have good interpersonal skills. The role is fully office-based in Shirley and is not a hybrid or WFH role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property department with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Maintain communication with clients and mortgage brokers
  • Attend networking events
  • Prepare initial documents involved in the conveyancing process
  • Monitor deadlines and update the calendar
  • Submit cases to the Land Registry

Requirements:

  • Passionate about people and the Residential Property sector
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with others
  • Experience within a similar setting, supporting fee earners within a busy Residential Property Team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
