Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatry professional to join our team as a Senior Podiatry Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality clinical care to patients across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical practice skills to ensure patients with active foot disease receive rapid diagnosis, optimization, and treatment.
  • Develop and establish improved multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) across the county to ensure seamless transfer of care across acute sites.
  • Operate clinics across the county and oversee the management of complex foot cases.
  • Supervise junior podiatrists to facilitate smooth step-up and step-down processes and oversee the signing off and reviewing of competencies.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the Podiatry community team, including organizing and participating in regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
Requirements
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake this qualification.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
