Plumbing Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our Estates Department at the University of Dundee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and installing plumbing systems on our city centre campus and other university-owned properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out troubleshooting, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance on plumbing assets, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Prepare and write risk assessments and method statements for plumbing tasks.
- Participate in the operation of our preventative planned maintenance scheme and management control system.
- Provide additional holiday relief or sickness absence cover and support to non-engineering related call-outs.
- Contribute to creating a safe working environment and adhere to HSE Health & Safety Guidelines and University policies.
- SNIJIB Plumber accreditation or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience working as a Plumber.
- Experience of working on statutory, reactive, and planned preventative maintenance tasks in occupied buildings.
