Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at the University of Dundee. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for performing general plumbing maintenance and installation work on our city centre campus and various university-owned properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out troubleshooting, reactive repairs, and planned maintenance on plumbing assets, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Prepare and write risk assessments and method statements for plumbing tasks.
  • Participate in the operation of our preventative planned maintenance scheme and management control system.
  • Contribute to creating a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Possess SNIJIB Plumber accreditation and have at least two years of experience working as a Plumber.
  • Experience of working on statutory, reactive, and planned preventative maintenance tasks in occupied buildings.
Requirements
